Accessibility
A site everyone can use.
We want FundraiserFlow to work for people using screen readers, keyboards, magnifiers, voice control, small screens and right-to-left languages.
What standard do we aim for?
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not had an independent audit yet, so we do not claim full conformance. This statement was last reviewed on 26 October 2026.
What have we done so far?
These are the measures built into every page today:
- A skip link, one main heading per page and landmark regions
- Menus, dropdowns and the mobile menu work with a keyboard and close with Escape
- Text is never smaller than 12 pixels, and colours are chosen for contrast
- Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall where practical
- Meaningful images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers
- Each page declares its language and reading direction, including right-to-left Arabic and Urdu
- Animations respect your device’s reduced-motion setting
What are the known limitations?
Official appeals link to other organisations’ websites, which we do not control. Some translated pages are shorter than their English versions. Interactive previews, such as the donation and Zakat calculators, have been tested with a keyboard but not yet with every screen reader.
How do I report a problem or ask for another format?
Email hello@fundraiserflow.org with the page address and what went wrong. We aim to reply within 10 working days. If you need information in another format, such as plain text, tell us and we will do our best to provide it.
