Trust & safety · distinct checks

A badge should never have to mean everything.

Identity, registration, campaign claims, recipient selection, payment eligibility and delivered outcomes are different states. We show them separately rather than implying one check proves them all.

What does an official-source summary establish?

It establishes which organisation published the appeal and what that source said when checked. It is not an independent audit or a guarantee of future performance. Our summaries retain important caveats and link back so you can read the live terms.

Which checks would precede a hosted campaign?

A production workflow would review account authenticity, organiser identity, organisation records, beneficiary permission, story and evidence, category and country eligibility, payment-provider onboarding, safeguarding and the funding plan. Automated completeness checks can organise that work but must not be presented as verification.

Why keep final approval human?

Automated rules can miss context, forged evidence, sensitivity and conflicts. A final reviewer should see the checks, unresolved items and change history before approving publication. Material changes to recipient or payment details should return the campaign to review rather than going live silently.

How are sensitive stories protected?

Do not publish identity documents, medical records, precise home addresses or children’s private details. Beneficiaries need appropriate consent and dignified wording. Updates can reconcile money and work without exposing patient or family records. The current local forms ask you not to submit sensitive documents.

How can I report a concern?

Email hello@fundraiserflow.org with the page URL, the exact statement of concern and supporting source material. Do not send unnecessary identity or medical documents. No response-time guarantee is made in this preview.
