Cookies · local-first controls

A plain-English storage guide.

The current application does not include advertising trackers. Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare states does not use cookies or localStorage. The site uses browser localStorage only for features you explicitly use, rather than account-based cloud storage.

Which localStorage keys are used?

These keys are functional preferences and drafts, not advertising identifiers. Storage access is guarded so blocked storage or corrupt JSON should not make the site unusable.

KeyWhat it containsHow to remove it
ff-savedSaved appeal identifiersUnsave appeals or clear site data
ff-draftFundraiser form fields and saved timestampClear site data; no cloud backup
ff-currencyExplicit currency-preview selectionChoose another currency or clear site data
ff-charity-applicationsLocal charity preview applications and review statusClear site data; do not enter real confidential data

What is not stored by these tools?

Zakat financial inputs are not written to localStorage by the estimator. No payment card is collected. No real charity document upload or server submission is connected. External sites have their own storage and privacy notices.

Does the site use cookies?

The application code does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Visits are measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare states “does not use any client-side state, such as cookies or localStorage, to collect usage metrics” and does not fingerprint visitors. Hosting, security and infrastructure providers may still process technical request data or use necessary mechanisms under their own terms. This distinction requires a final production review before launch.

How do I clear or block storage?

Use your browser settings for this site to delete site data or block storage. Blocking storage does not prevent reading pages, but saved appeals, drafts, preferences and the local review queue may only last for the current session or be unavailable.
